Rerouting in-air and offline

The latest system update 3.3.4 includes the new Rerouting module (RER). The RER function is a new option to extend the planned flight route with additional, unplanned waypoints and alternate destinations.

From the Flight Progress page you can easily activate the rerouting module and with only few clicks compose a route string to be inserted in the existing flight plan.

The navigational flight parameters of both the inserted reroute and the original flight route, like track courses, distances, times, wind components, and fuel consumptions will automatically be calculated and updated in the OFP for Flight Progress.

The RER module is an optional module and must be activated in the subscription, but can be tested if requested.
